The easter eggs have gone amiss!
Who could have done a thing like this?
A dog? A cat? A goldfish? Nay!
A bunny carried them away!

Nineteen eggs around the place,
Somewhere in this living space...
Under couches? In the drawers?
Some might even be outdoors.

Brown and gold and red and blue,
Might not see them from that point of view.
Stand on a table, crawl on the ground,
Walk about, and spin around.

If it's hard at first, don't fret:
You'll find them soon enough, I bet.
Think like a rabbit, and soon you'll see
They're all there--I guarantee!

But why are we wasting all this time?
Still reading out this silly rhyme?
The easter eggs have gone astray!
Go search for them without delay!

Not serious, clearly. Written in a few minutes so Mum could put it in an empty chocolate box for my grandparents. Hehehe. :-)

Best read in exaggerated, childish, patronising tones.

Will most likely be scrapped. XD

You'd be surprised what you can do
With a rhyming dictionary or two.
If you choose words carefully,
Rhyming is easy, don't you see? XD
