For those of you who care about this sort of thing, I'm just letting you know that I haven't totally disappeared off the face of the earth, but life is hectic and I am lazy! XD You know the drill. I've still been around, sorting through my message box, but I haven't uploaded anything and rarely commented on anything in FOREVER.

So, I've decided to take a little bit of a dA vacation and save myself some time. No doubt I shall be back when I'm feeling all artistic again, & I can still be contacted through the normal avenues. For the moment, I've unchecked all the boxes on my 'watch' page--I don't want to come back to ten bazillion messages, eeeeeep!--but I just thought y'all should know what was going on in case you missed me!

I uploaded some photos from my holiday. There may be one or two more to come. I am so excited by the response on my turtle photo...22 favs! Eek!

My M&Ms stamp hit 50 favs without me realising it was even close. Way to make my day, guys.

I have now been spurred on to take up another stamp-creating streak...if my laptop decides to allow it. Anyone want/have any ideas for stamps? Will maaaake!

My laptop is dying a slow, painful death. We're going to take it to the computer place to get it wiped clean. (Don't worry; I still have my files. Yay for external hard drives!)

I are back at school. It's not ALL bad, but it's still suitably depressing.

I are also back at the con. This is incredibly wonderful because I love that place, and the people in it. Also, my flute exam isn't until the 20th. Phew!

It's my birthday next Friday (the 1st)! I shall be turning 15. *hinthint*

• We got back from Nambucca Heads last night after driving all day. I'm rather sore now, though, from sitting in awkward positions in the car for so long. Uh, while we were there I got new clothes and had my ears pierced and was sick and was "kissed" by a seal and a dolphin and went to a butterfly house and painted a rock and ate fish and chips and probably some other stuff.


• I got my results back from the uni and I got a high distinction and am happy.


• I spent the entire day catching up on internet happenings over the past two weeks.


• I really really really am not looking forward to going back to school.


• I'm up to about 30wpm on the Dvorak keyboard layout. Getting there. Slowly.

REAL LIFE:
Bombarded by assignments, tests, and general work. Currently in the midst of pretending like Year 10 matters. It doesn't.

Had Relay for Life on the weekend. I personally didn't raise much, but our team raised about $500, and altogether we raised over $150 000 for cancer. You can donate here, if you would like, but I understand that most of us are just poor students here. ^_^

We used to keep snakes, but sold them. If you yell at me, I will either burst into tears or yell right back. I love to learn, but school is a waste of time.

2 things you expect (at least for now): I expect that we shall receive the 'expectations' lecture from our teachers at least twenty times between now and the end of the year. I expect, also, that my maths teacher and I will end up in a screaming match in the same time period.

4 random thoughts: I should be doing my assignment. I'm so glad I skipped the athletics carnival. I think my legs are less sore. I have flute ensemble tonight.
